  • Ready, Set, School! Kindergarten Readiness: Glendale Branch | 10:30 am –11:15 am Help your child with pre-kindergarten skills in this workshop led by a former kindergarten teacher! Perfect for children ages 4-6. Registration Required

  • Family Game Night: Nora Branch | 6 pm - 7 pm A fun night of board games at the Nora Library. Patrons of all ages are invited to drop in any time for a fun night playing board games. Games will be provided.

  • Storytime: Glendale Branch | 10:30 am - 11:30 am Babies up to 24 months and an adult are invited for stories, songs, fingerplays, and fun! Each session is followed by playtime with special toys designed just for babies.

  • Bilingual Storytime Spanish: Michigan Road Branch | 10:30 am - 11:00 am Young children will enjoy books, songs, and games in this bilingual storytime in English and Spanish! / ¡Los niños pequeños disfrutarán de libros, canciones y juegos en esta hora de cuentos bilingüe en inglés y español!

  • Art Adventures: Garfield Park Branch | 10:30 am - 11:15 am Join Jeremy South of Ripple Mobile Arts to explore art inspired by picture books. Children ages 3-6 will create their own masterpiece using a variety of materials. Dress to mess! Registration Required

  • Harp Music & Stories: Pike Branch | 10:30 am - 11 am Babies and toddlers will be introduced to the music of a concert harp in this program with Arts for Learning teaching artist Melissa Gallant. Join us to learn that music brings stories to life through feelings and emotions! Registration Required

  • Teen Zone: Irvington Branch | 4 pm - 5 pm Tweens and teens in grades 6–12 are invited to visit a therapy dog and enjoy other quiet activities in our Teen Zone.

  • Paw to Read: College Ave | 6 pm - 7 pm School-aged children who are beginning or reluctant readers are invited to read to a non-judgmental registered therapy dog who loves to listen to stories. It's a great way to improve a child's reading skills and self-confidence! Registration Required

  • Pajama Storytime:  Irvington Branch | 6:30 pm - 7 pm Young children and their caregivers are invited to join us for bedtime stories, songs, and fun activities that build a love of reading and learning. Children are welcome to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffie. No registration is required.

Game Night Social: The Garage Food Hall

6 pm - 9 pm Laugh with old friends or meet new ones while enjoying tabletop games. Feel free to bring your favorite game from home. Food from the various vendors will be open for purchase. All ages welcome. Free.
