  • Ready, Set, School! Kindergarten Readiness: Glendale Branch | 10:30 am - 11:15 am Help your child with pre-kindergarten skills in this workshop led by a former kindergarten teacher! Perfect for children ages 4-6. Register Here.

  • Teen: Fantasy Fitness - with Stevie Deal: Central Library | 4 pm - 5 pm Get moving like your favorite characters! Whether you're channeling anime warriors, fantasy fighters, or superhero strength, build real-world fitness inspired by epic fictional worlds. Train your body, sharpen your mindset, and level up—one workout at a time. Register Here.

  • Minecraft Club: Central Library | 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm Kids ages 7 and up are invited to join us on the 3rd floor for Minecraft Club! Stop by to mine, build, and interact with fellow Minecrafters using the library’s laptops or iPads. Jump into our premade world or create one entirely of your own! Children under 12 need to bring an adult.

  • Youth Art/Music Drop In: Nora Branch | 6 pm - 7 pm Please join Nora staff for an evening of free play with musical instruments.

  • Storytime: Michigan Road Branch | 10:30 am - 11:15 am Preschoolers, toddlers, and their caregivers are invited for stories, fingerplays, crafts and activities.

  • Seed Library Support - Pack Seeds For Our 2026 Seed Library: Irvington Branch| 11:30 am - 1:30 pm Work with fellow volunteers to pack seeds for our 2026 Seed Library! Measure out bulk seeds into envelopes that community members can take home and grow. Register Here. 

  • Teen Fic Club: Make it "Write"! - Monthly Writing Club - Monthly Writing Club: | 4:30 pm - 6 pm Love a story but it didn’t end “right”? Missing some of your favorite characters? Maybe you could write it yourself! The Teen Fic Writing Club is an opportunity for you to hone your craft as a writer, through fanfic writing or creating your own original works! Register Here.

  • Teen Zone: Central LIbrary | 5 pm - 7 pm Teens ages 12-18 are invited to explore art, technology, games, science, and more with Teen Central! Engage with free materials and learn new skills at your own pace in our new Teen Space on the 2nd floor!

  • Family Game Night: Central Library | 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm Kids, teens, and families are invited to stop by the Atrium on the 2nd floor for Family Game Night! We have lots of board, card, and dice games to explore along with giant-sized chess, checkers, Jenga, and Connect 4.

  • Pokemon Card Trading: Glendale Branch | 6 pm - 7 pm Bring your cards and get ready to trade! For children 11 and under only.

  • Phoebe & Jay Preschool Workshop - with WFYI: Irvington Branch | 6 pm - 6:45 pm Join our friends at WFYI to screen their new show, Phoebe and Jay, before it airs! Activities and games will follow. Perfect for ages 3-5, but families are welcome

  • Paws to Read: Glendale Branch | 6 pm - 7 pm School-aged children who are beginning or reluctant readers are invited to read to a non-judgmental registered therapy dog who loves to listen to stories. It's a great way to improve a child's reading skills and self-confidence! Register Here


Game Night Social: The Garage Food Hall
