  • Art Adventures: Glendale Park Branch | 10:30 am - 11:15 am Join Jeremy South of Ripple Mobile Arts to explore art inspired by picture books. Children ages 3-6 will create their own masterpiece using a variety of materials. Dress to mess! Registration Required

  • What's in a Pellet? - with Happy Hollow Children's Camp: College Ave Branch |  4:30pm - 5:30pm Learn all about our nocturnal, feathered friends! Dissect a real owl pellet, learn about owl population dynamics, and make a cool craft to take home.

  • Introduction to Debate - A Six-Week Program for Middle School Students: College Ave Branch | 5:00pm - 6:30pm Middle school students are invited to a free program series to discover skills and gain confidence through learning about debate! This series will be led by Park Tudor junior and debate champion, Penelope Guevara! Registration Required

  • Minecraft Club: Central Library | 5:30pm - 7:30pm Kids ages 7 and up are invited to join us on the 3rd floor for Minecraft Club! Stop by to mine, build, and interact with fellow Minecrafters using the library’s laptops or iPads. Jump into our premade world or create one entirely of your own!

  • Lego Block Party:  Nora Branch | 6:00pm - 7:00pm Kids are invited to flex their creative muscles and building skills at our Block Party! Stop by the Nora branch community room to create with LEGOs, blocks, and other kid-friendly building materials.

  • Storytime: Glendale Branch | 10:30 am - 11:30 am Babies up to 24 months and an adult are invited for stories, songs, fingerplays, and fun! Each session is followed by playtime with special toys designed just for babies.

  • Storytime: Michigan Road Branch | 10:30 am - 11:15 am Preschoolers, toddlers, and their caregivers are invited for stories, fingerplays, crafts and activities. No registration is required.

  • Bilingual Storytime - Spanish / Hora del cuento bilingüe - en español: Pike Branch | 10:30 am - 11:30 am Young children will enjoy books, songs, and games in this bilingual storytime in English and Spanish! / ¡Los niños pequeños disfrutarán de libros, canciones y juegos en esta hora de cuentos bilingüe en inglés y español!

  • Paw to Read: Irvington Branch | 6 pm - 7 pm School-aged children who are beginning or reluctant readers are invited to read to a non-judgmental registered therapy dog who loves to listen to stories. It's a great way to improve a child's reading skills and self-confidence! Registration Required

  • Dungeons & Dragons: College Branch |4:30pm - 6 pm First time players or experienced adventurers, join us to explore Dungeons and Dragons. Game materials and dice provided, just bring your imagination! Ages 12 and up.

  • Family Game Night: Central Library | 5:30pm - 7:30pm Kids, teens, and families are invited to stop by the Kid Central on the 3rd floor for Family Game Night! We have lots of board, card, and dice games to explore, along with giant-sized chess, checkers, Jenga, and Connect 4.
